Effects of enzymtic treatment on properties of high count ramie fabrics

Abstract
The effects of treatment with cellulose enzyme TZ25,and cellulose enzyme TZ25 + softener on the wearability of high count ramie fabric were studied.Analytical comparison of breaking strength,tearing strength,wrinkle-resistance,mechanical properties and prickle of the fabric before and after treatment found that cellulose enzyme TZ25 treated fabric shows decreased breaking strength and tearing strength,but improved wrinkle-resistance,handle feeling,prickle.Cellulose enzyme TZ25 + softener treated fabric indicates breaking strength slightly decreased,while tearing strength increased by 163.5 percent,wrinkle-resistance and softness further improved,and prickle weakened greatly.
