Abstract
The VeoVa/VAc/BA copolymer emulsion was prepared by seed emulsion polymerization method. The influences of protective colloid type and contents, emulsifier contents, polymerization tempera- ture and mix round speed were reviewed on the copolymer emulsion viscosity. The research results showed that the influence of alcoholysis degree of protective colloid and emulsifier contents were most marked on emulsion viscosity. The emulsion viscosity was maximal when polyvinyl alcohol(PVA1788) with lower alcoholysis degree was used and the mass fraction of PVA1788 was 10%,but the decrease of emul- sion viscosity wasn't marked when the mass fraction of emulsifier were more than 3%.
