Abstract

Objective To know about the contamination status of pathogens in food in market, find the safety problem, provide scientific basis for effective prevention and control of food- borne disease. Methods 8kinds of food samples were selected to detect Salmonella,Escherichia coli O157,Staphylococcus aureus,Listeria monocytogenes,Vibrio parahaemolyticus,Shigella, and Bacillus cereus. Results A total of 8 types1522 food samples were tested for food- borne pathogens from which 94 pathogens were isolated, the total detection rate was of 6. 18%( 94 /1522). Among them, the aquatic products had the most serious contamination with the detection rate of 11. 50%( 23 /200),followed by the livestock meat with the detection rate of11. 43%( 20 /175). Conclusions There exists different degree of food- borne pathogens contamination in the market food,it is necessary to carry out effective control measures, build the system of food safety random inspections, and reduce the incidence of food- borne disease.
