Awakening and Leaping:An Introspection on the Independence of Chinese Cultural Modernization

In the process of modernization,China has achieved outstanding economic accomplishment,and varying degrees of modernization in social and political spheres.However,as an important part of this process,cultural modernization has not caught up with China's overall modernization.Although it may seem to be as the relative independence of social ideology,still we must be faced with such a question:whether the material modernization will inevitably bring about cultural modernization?When the outer material force fails to promote the modernization of culture,we might as well consider this matter from the perspective of cultural subjectivity.By awakening the subjective appeal of modern culture,we can influence the process of cultural modernization,and explore a road to Chinese cultural modernization on the constructive level.
