Abstract

Using space-shell-element shell93,the body was described, and the welding sections were described using coupling, the finite element model of the white body was established in ANSYS.The body parameters were extracted and the finite element analysis system of car body static stiffness was developed.A specific model was analyzed as an example, the deformation values of the body stiffness: from finite element analysis and test are almost the same, which indicates that the finite element analysis system is reliable. While the torsional stiffness, the middle bending, the rear bending stiffness and the Z-displacement plot can be obtained. The results of the studies have an important practical value for the study of the static stiffness and the structural design of car body.
