Clinical Analysis of 25 Cases of Lupus Nephritis and Acute Renal Failure

Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical characters of 25 cases of lupus nephritis and acute renal failure.Methods A retrospective analysis of 25 cases of lupus nephritis and acute renal failure from Jan,2000 to Dec,2010 in our hospital were analyzed in this research in order to summarize the characters of treatment and prognosis.Results After treatment,the survival rate was 80% while the mortality rate was 20%.Urinary protein and soluble complement receptor(Scr)of survival group were significantly lower than mortal group,while chemokine CCR receptor(CCr)and C3 were significantly higher than mortal group.The more numbers of other organ damage,the more mortality.Conclusion Lupus nephritis with acute renal failure had poor prognosis and high mortality rate,especially for those with multiple other organs damage.
