ADVANCES IN FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT STUDY AND THE PRIMARY RESEARCH ON FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT MODELS IN CHINA

Based on the summary of research reports and publications on flood risk management, this paper puts forward the idea for flood risk management in China. The government should set up the flood management law and the flood prevention infrastructure, the families and the enterprises should improve their economic ability to prevent the flood, the insurance companies should strengthen the flood risk control and funds, and the social relief is an important measure in flood risk management.
