Abstract
There is a close relationship between rolling contacting behavior and the service life of roller bearing. In order to investigate the effect of lubrication condition on dynamic contacting characteristics of roller bearing, numerical simulations were carried out by introducing dynamic finite element models with different friction coefficients based on ANSYS/ LS-DYNA.It finds that the maximum stress of rollers elements calculated from fluid lubrication condition were less than that from the model with boundary lubrication or mixed lubrication. The displacement of the axis along loading from fluid lubrication condition had the least variation amplitude. Conclusions were expected to give some useful references for the study of dynamic contacting nature predicting and reasonable lubrication condition choosing of rolling bearings.
