The New Comprehension about the Definition of the Natural Resources

The natural resource is the most basic material and energy foundation for the human society's survival and development. All the human society pays more attention to the natural resources along with the natural resource's shortage and the ecological environment's worsening. This article has discussed the background and the significance of natural resource's concept and has analyzed the different natural resource's definitions in different academic fields. It has proposed that natural resource's concept should be understood from the different dimensions (such as time﹑space and value). It has pointed out that the definition of the natural resource is conditional, relative, dynamic. This article also presents the new comprehension of the generally recognized definition of the modern natural resources , which would provide the theory basis for people's engaging in natural resource practice and development.
