Abstract
In this paper,rhizome coptidis was researched as a natural plant dye in the dyeing on acrylic fiber.Extracting the dye liquor from rhizome coptidis under the natural baths condition,dyeing the acrylic fibers with the extract,and the stability of the extract was tested.The dyeing K/S value and color difference were determined by direct dyeing single factor experiment,mordant dyeing and parallel experiment,and the best process conditions was decided.The results of the experiments showed that the dyeing temperature and dye concentration had great influnce on dyeing effect,and the post-mordant dyeing was better than the pre-mordant dyeing.The optimal process was obtained by the orthogonal experiment of ferric salt pre-mordant dyeing: ferric salt 0.01 mol/L,time 40 min,temperature 70 ℃,bath ratio 1 ∶ 40.The results of the experiments show that rhizome coptidis extract dye acrylic fiber fastness to better.
