Abstract

The study of classics was accepted by the royal court in the Western Han Dynasty because emperors paid great attention to The law of the Qin Dynasty was still followed in the early Han Dynasty with the guiding line of Confucian scholars to government officials. During the reign of Emperor Wu, Confucianism occupied a dominant position in royal courts with the political trend government officials to scholars. Emperor Wu designated court academicians in 136B.C. which was regarded as a demarcation line of the two stages when study of classics was prevailing in the royal court. classics teachers are on intimate terms with emperors after that and are tutors of princes. Respect for the classics teachers and running the country by it is basic political feature after the reign of Emperor Wu.
