Therapeutic Effects of Tiopronin Combined with Zhiganqing Capsule on Patients with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Objective:To evaluate the effect of tiopronin combined with herbal recipe Zhiganqing capsule(ZGQ capsule)in treating non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods:One hundred and forty patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease were divided into two groups,seventy patients each group,patients in the treatment group were treated with tiopronin and Zhiganqing capsule,while the control group were treated with Zhiganqing capsule.Then the levels of ALT,AST,GGT,TG,TC,HDL-C and LDL-C should be compared between the two groups after the treatment.Results:After the patients were treated,the levels of ALT,AST and GGT were lower than before treated,the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P0.05),the level of TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were all ameliorated in experiment group and control group after treatment,especially in the experiment group.Conclusion:The combination of tiopronin with Zhiganqing capsule can previously improve the liver function on patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,which will be widely applied in clinical.
