Abstract
Primary hepatic carcinoma is a commonly found disease in China 90 percent of the hepatic carcinoma patients affiliates cirrhosis.Hepatectomy is the main treatment for hepatic carcinoma, but liver has the powerful capacity to regenerate after injury or resection, which has been realized and studied for thousands of years. In this paper we presented a review on the regeneration of liver cirrhosis after hepatectomy, the damage to the mechanism of liver regeneration and the assessment of liver regeneration.
