Abstract
By using the methods such as literature consultation and questionnaire survey,the present situations of physical education in the rural schools of 6 counties and cities in western Anhui were investigated.The physical education in the rural schools of western Anhui were analyzed from the aspects of fund input,fields and facilities,physical education teaching,extracurricular activities,teachers and management.Aiming the existing problems,some improvement measures and proposals were put forward.
