Clinical research of infrared treatment for surgical treatment of hemorrhoids

Objective: To analyse and summary of multifunctional medical infrared therapeutic apparatus combined with operation therapy for various types of hemorrhoid therapeutic effect. Methods: We used multifunctional infrared medical treatment instrument combined with operation therapy since Jan. 2010 to Dec. 2010 in our hospital during the diagnosis and treatment of 336 cases of various types of anorectal hemorrhoids patients were treated by simple operation and treatment of various types of hemorrhoids in 112 cases of patients were compared. Results: The treatment group of 336 cases patients with wound healing time was shorter than in control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P0.05); The treatment group and the control group the incidence of intraoperative bleeding and postoperative edema of crissum incidence compared to the difference of the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group (P0.05). The treatment group were cured in 332 cases, including all types of external hemorrhoids in 136 cases, the cure rate was 99.27%, mixed hemorrhoids in 101 cases, the cure rate was 99.02%, phase Ⅲ hemorrhoids for 95 cases, the cure rate was 97.94%, the hemorrhoid types were significantly higher than that of the control group ( P0.05). Conclusion: Our studies show that infrared therapeutic apparatus combined with operation therapy has the advantages of simple operation, easy to master, is currently the treatment of hemorrhoids, is relatively simple and efficient means of treatment, the method has the advantages of safety and reliability as well as postoperative pain of small advantages, is worthy of the basic unit hospital wide popularization and application.
