Tourism Competitiveness Evaluation Study of Coastal Cities

Abstract

Using the method of AHP and TOPSIS,this paper selects three index systems of tourism resources,namely,comprehensive competitiveness,tourism development competitiveness and tourism environment competitiveness,to research horizontal measures of the cities' tourism competitiveness of five sub-provincial tourism cities of Dalian,Qingdao,Ningbo,Xiamen and Shenzhen,in order to reflect their potentiality,vitality and bindingness.The results shows that Shenzhen's overall competitiveness is the strongest and Dalian ranks the second place.
