Investigation and Assessment of Chinese College Students’ Mental Health Service Needs

Abstract

The objective of the present study is to assess the mental health service needs of Chinese college students.The researchers follow the psychometric criteria in developing the Chinese college students’ mental health service needs questionnaire.Using cross-sectional survey and stratified random sampling,5058 college students from 35 colleges and universities national-wide have been investigated and the systematic information of present states and characteristics of Chinese college students’ mental health services needs have been obtained.Finally,the researchers put forward strategies and suggestions.
