Abstract

Telomere and telomerase are the focus of modern biological study.There are close relationships among telomere loss and cell ageing,activation of telomerase,cell senescence and immortalization.The formation and function of telomere and telomerase and the close relationship between cell ageing and canceration are reviewed,and application of telomerase in retarding ageing and inhtbiting canceration is introduced.
