Abstract
To better understand a new phase of land use planning implementation, this paper applies the Delphi technique and a multi-objective linear weighted sum method in conjunction with relevant information to construct an evaluation index system of land use planning. On the basis of an empirical assessment of land use planning in Huiwan village of Zhuxi county, Hubei province, the implementation of planning is found to be good, except for the three indicators of urban and rural construction land, facilitation of special land for transport, and total area of construction land. To solve these problems, the paper proposes four policy recommendations.
