Abstract
Objective To investigate the meaning of dynamic electrocardiogram (DCG) in follow-up survey after the insertion of pacemaker. Methods The patients (n=83) with pacemakers were analysed by using 24-hour DCG and compared with conventional ECG. The pacemaking and perception of pacemaker, and arrhythmia related to pacemaker were decided. The ECG changes of interactions between pacemaker and autorhythm was analysed. ResultsThe disorder of pacemaker was detected by DCG in 14 cases (16.9%) and by ECG in 4 (4.8%). The detectable rate had significant and statistical difference (P0.01). The independent arrhythmia was detected in 55 cases,pacemaker-related arrhythmia in 5,and pseudofusion in 15 by DCG. Conclusion The detectable rate of disorder of pacemaker is higher by DCG,which can be taken as the base for clinical follow-up survey after the insertion of pacemaker.
