CHEN-Zuo ming's criticism on poetry of West Jin dynasty covers a large scope.In general,he gives positive comments to the achievement and artistic features in the poetry of West Jin dynasty,which goes against the traditional negative attitude from scholars since the middle of Tang dynasty,esp.from the Seven Scholars of Ming dynasty.His criticism differs from that of other scholars in early Qing dynasty and finds a position in the history of criticism on poetry of West Jin dynasty.
