On Thoughts of Deng Xiaoping’s Harmonious Society

Abstract

The theory of Deng Xiaoping contains abundant harmonious society thoughts,and their study has an important theoretical and practical meaning.Since the fourth plenary meeting of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party,the academic field have deeply explored and studied Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts on harmonious society with some achievements obtained.But there is also some deficiency.A summary and a brief comment are made from five aspects of theoretical foundation,contents,characteristics,historic contribution and theoretical meaning.
