Abstract

The proposition ofbuilding up a socialist harmonious societymentioned by the Chinese Communist Party tallies exactly with the basic spirit ofa well-off societyadvocated by Deng Xiaoping.Therefore, building up a harmonious society is Deng Xiaoping's implication as well.To decode the theoretical connotation of a harmonious society and its implement as well as the characteristics of the process,is of great theoretical and practical significance for building up a socialist harmonious society.
