STUDY ON AHP ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM RESOURCES——TAKING XINHUILONG TOWN,HEYUAN CITY AS A CASE

Abstract

This paper,based on practical experience of planning tourism development for Xinhuilong town,analyzes the present situation of tourism resources in Xinhuilong town,assesses quantitatively its tourism resources by means of AHP method.The tourism resources in Xinhuilong town,marked by ecological leisure,possess highly viewing value.The environmental capacity,transportation and guests are the vital factors for developing tourism resources.The paper presents a strategy for developing the tourism resources in Xinhuilong town according to assessment results,that is,protecting environment,fabricating brand,improving transportation and insisting on sustainable development.
