Abstract
Modern Chinese has some disadvantages in its teaching target, content and method.This article tries to explain that the modern Chinese teaching means should be applied reasonably by emphasizing the theoretical, practical and stereoscopic teaching content;the two—way “discovering”and “inquiring”teaching methods,and the cultivation of the language capacity and research competence as its teaching target.
