On Debating Skill of Li Zhi's Essay

Abstract

Li Zhi was an enlightening thinker in the late Ming Dynasty,also an excellent litterateur advocating new prevailing literture.Li Zhi's essay expressed extremely high debating skill:lithre steady with calm but needle hidden in floss,or laughing merrily and cursing angrily,or implying satire in banter,or frank with a tremendous momentum,which imparts the essay an imposing manner and presents theoretical eloquence and strong deterrent force.Li Zhi's essay formed unique style of writing with his individual character,thus,with extended individuality,he spoke without reservation and stated his views frankly;his essay also was the redlection of new literary style of the Ming Dynasty.
