Abstract

In order to study on the regional outburst prediction of the coal mining face, taking No.2614 coal mining face of Cheji Mine as an example,in combination with the regional predicted indexes,in comprehensive considerations on the coal mass structure of the coal mining face and the seam gas content, gas pressure and gas emission quantity as well as other gas parameters, the regional outburst predicted indexes of the coal mining face were determined as the gas content. With the indoor simulation study and in combination with the site measured parameters, the critical value of the mine gas content was determined as 9.0 m3/t and the coal mining face was divided into outburst danger zone and non-outburst danger zone. The production practice results showed that the regional outburst prediction of the coal mining face with the above index system and method would be feasible.
