Abstract

With widespread application of XML for exchanging and expressing data on the web, efficient storage and access to XML data have become a key problem to be solved urgently. The database model based on XML is studies and storing and accessing XML data are realized with microsoft SQL server 2000. A case is presented to illustrate how to realize XML access and storage.
