Issues in "Reconstructing" Modern History of Chinese Literature

Recent years have seen a hot debate for the of modern history of Chinese literature,such as the linkage of the modern history with the ancient,that whether the modern literature should be discussed under the general title of popular literature,the composition of classical poetry,and the overseas Chinese literature.My survey suggests that the reconstruction is something that can endlessly extend its temporality backward,but turns back to modern Chinese literature itself.Meanwhile,it is neither to add the scope of the research;rather it should strengthen the depth of the research from a multiple view.The key to promoting the learning history lies in constant advance of the academic weight,and looks into modern Chinese literature from the historical perspective to attain its practical significance.
