Abstract

In recent years, the studies on American Chinese literature has gradually developed into a hotspot in the studies on literature in Chinese language, and the center of worldwide studies on literature in Chinese language seems to be shifted from Southeast Asia to North America. This special issae discusses: two thinking in the studies on American Chinese literature; interaction between the change in cultural theme of American Chinese literature and Chinese literature during 20 th century; Taiwan writer group in American Chinese literature; white horse club; contemporary American Chinese feminine literature; cultural transmission of American Chinese literature in the context of heterogeneous culture; and the discussion of American Chinese literary criticism on the modernity of Chinese modern literature.
