Abstract
This paper,based on the parametric design of gear reducer box,explores the secondary expand of Pro/E in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005,discusses the classification method of characteristics and introduces the problems which should be paid attention to on process of Pro/TOOLKIT expand.Finally,it is indicated that this method is feasible to realize the fast modification of the model which is based on the parametric design of K series gear reducer.
