Comparison of CT examination methods with tilt angle and axial scanning in sacroiliac joint

Abstract

Objective:To valuate avantages of CT scanning with tilt angle in sacroiliac joint.Methods:45 cases of sacroiliac jointt were examined by CT scanning with axial and tilt angle.Two kinds of scanning methods and their imaging effect were analysed.Results:With only half the level of axial scanning,CT scanning with tilt angle could obtain the vertical section imaging to show the whole sacroiliac joint and adjacent anatomical structures,the image was more intuitive.Conclusion:The scanning technology with tilt angle could be the referred CT examination method in sacroiliac joint.
