Anatomical types of commissural region among atrioventricular valves of Chinese Han nationality adults

Objective To offer anatomic parameters for diagnosing and treating the diseases about right atrioventricular valve.Methods The hearts of 171 adult corpses of Chinese Han nationality were observed for the forms of all the commissural region of the main valves and the commissural region of main and accessory valves.Results The commissural region of main valves can be divided into the commissural region between the single main valve and the united main valve,and between the single main valve and another single main valve.The commissural region of the main and accessory valve can be divided into the commissural region between single main valve and accessory valve,and between united main valve and accessory valve.Conclusion Both the commissural region of main valve and commissural region of main and accessory valve have their own exact position.They can close the passage-way from atrium to ventricle completely so as to prevent the blood from ventricle reversing into atrium.So during operation,more attention should be paid to the anatomical types.
