Abstract
With the train speed increasing,wheel and rail steel are also upgrading constantly.By comparing the chemical composition and mechanical properties of domestic and foreign wheel and rail steels we point that micro-alloying is the key factor to improve the performance of high-speed train wheel-rail steel.Micro-alloying can ensure high strength while improving the toughness of steel significantly thereby improving the fatigue properties of steel.At the same time,the recent research about wear,rolling contact fatigue and the relationship between wear and rolling contact fatigue about high speed train wheel-rails are summarized.
