Abstract

A new type of 220KW high-speed wheel/rail fatigue testing machine can accurately reproduce the phenomenon of wheel-rail rolling contact fatigue, corrugation and side wear under the speed of 300km/h. Wheel track damage mechanism and adhesion characteristics in real working conditions can be simulated. It provides the necessary means of research and design data for the development of high-speed railway construction.
