Reform of Theory Teaching in Environmental Engineering for Training Outstanding Engineers

Under the guidance of A Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineersand based on the needs of society practices and the demand of the students' self-development,the paper analyzed the importance of theory teaching in the culture of outstanding engineer and the existing disadvantages. Then feasible reform measures and suggestions about Environmental Engineering were put forward from teaching content,teaching ideas,teaching methods and other aspects,in the hope of stimulating students' learning interest and motivation and of cultivating students' creativity and practical consciousness,thus to explore the theoretical teaching model which has professional features.
