Abstract
Objective To evaluate hepatitis B vaccine coverage rate. Methods Descriptive analysis was made on routine data reports of immunization coverage rate of hepatitis B vaccine. Results There were 200 township level vaccination clinics and 91 obstetric vaccination rooms. The first vaccine coverage rate of hepatitis B was 99.23% with 94.27% of the timely vaccine coverage rate of hepatitis B after birth within 24 hours.Maternal HBsAg detecting rate was 98.69% with the positive rate of HBsAg 3.2%.The top 3 factors identified to be associated with children not being vaccinated included fever, low birth weight, preterm birth and dystocia. Conclusion The surveillance indicators met the requirements of National Hepatitis B Prevention and Control Planning for 2006-2010,and the local maternal HBsAg detecting rate was at a higher level. In the nearly future,by improving the vaccination standardization activities in 2012,continuing to maintain a high level of immunization coverage rate was needed.
