Abstract
The basic principle of jet-electroplating is presented. The nanocrystalline nickel coating was prepared by a(self-designed) and made jet-electroplating system, and the coating was further processed by laser remelting. The impact of current density on coating microstructure and macro-property under direct and pulse current power source, and the impact of laser remelting on coating morphology were especially studied. The changes of the metal matrix,jet-electroplating and laser remelt coatings in microhardness were investigated. The results indicate that compared with the metal matrix, the coating prepared by jet-electroplating is obviously improved, and further improved after laser remelting in microhardness.
