Abstract
Objective To prepare complex loratadine sustained released capsules and study the release behavior. Methods The fast-release pellets were prepared by using the extrusion method first, which was used as the core to prepare the sustained-release pellets by coating with Eudragit RS100;the final sustained-release pellets were made by mixing the fast-release pellets and sustained-release pellets at a ratio of 1:3. Results The optimal sustained release behavior was found by mixing the fast-release pellets and sustained-release pellets coated with 14% more materials at a ratio of 1:3. Conclusion The complex loratadine sustained released capsules have a good sustained-release efficiency.
