Abstract
Using vinyl acetate(Vac) as the hard monomer, butyl acrylate(BA) and ethylhexyl acrylate(EHA) as the soft monomers and acylic acid(AA) and vinyl versatate(VV-10) as the functional monomers the vinyl acetate-acrylate copolymer emulsion adhesives for laminating were prepared by emulsion polymerization. The effects of glass transition temperature, functional monomers, emulsifier and intiator on emulsion properties were inverstigated. The results showed that when glass transition temperature was-23.14℃,the amounts of functional monomers, emulsifier and initiator were 10%,2% and 0.4% by weight of total monomers, respectively, the obtained latex showed excellent comprehensive properties.
