Abstract
Objective:To study the effects of salvianolic acid B on human umbilical vein endothelial cell(HUVEC)apoptosis induced by AGEs and ox-LDL.Methods:HUVECs were incubated at different concentration of salvianolic acid B(10-4mol/L,2×10-4mol/L)for 12h,24h,36h,48h Percentage of apoptosis were observed under fluorescent microscope to analyze apoptosis by Hochest 33258 staining. Results:AGEs and ox-LDL caused apoptosis on the cultured HUVECs.After treatment with salvianolic acid B,apoptosis decreased significantly(P0.05).Conclusion:The results indicated that salvianolic acid B might exert protective effects on endothelial cell against apoptosis.
