Abstract

A new compound [(C10H10N2)(C10H9N2)(PMo12O40)]·(C10H8N2)2·7H2O was obtained by means of hydrothermal way.It was characterized as crystallizing in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c,with a= 1.87700(16) nm,b= 1.40329(12) nm,c= 2.6543(2) nm,β= 105.4510(10)°,V=6.7386(10) nm3,Dc=2.539g/cm3,Z=2,Mr = 2576.12,μ(MoKα) = 2.290 mm-1,F(000)= 4960,R1=0.0548,wR2 =0.1342.The crystal structure shows that the title compound consists of one polyoxomatelate(PMo12O403-) with the Keggin structure,two 4,4′-bipyridine cations,two 4,4′-bipyridine molecules and seven water molecules.There are hydrogen bonds in the title compound.
