Effects of Different Grafting Ways on Survival Rate and Growth of Lemon Seedlings

Abstract

The trials of lemon grafting were carried out to observe effects of four different grafting ways including buds grafting on cutting to rootstock(BCR),scion grafting on cutting to rootstock(SCR),side-bud grafting(SB),side-scion grafting(SS) in order to screened out the best grafting methods.The results showed that the different grafting ways remarkably affected the surviva1 rate and growth of seedlings.The best grafting method was BCR with the highest survival rate and the fastest growth rate.As a whole,the grafting effect were presented as BCRSCRSB and SS.
