Comparison of Three Walnut Grafting Methods

In order to improve survival rate of walnut grafted,comparison of new shoot increments and cost were made between seedling grafting,bud grafting and green branch grafting of walnut.The results showed that the main factors influencing survival rate was not grafting methods but grafting time.During the same period,the earlier grafting time was,the better effect would be.Seedling grafting need shorter seedling period and lower cost,and was easier to learn,than the other methods.So it could be used in industry seedling.
