The Application of Winsock Technology in the Network Communication System

Abstract

Winsock is an open network programming interface that is based on the standards of Windows Sockets.This paper describes the basic concepts of TCP / IP and Winsock,and their client / server models.Meanwhile,a Winsock-based socket programming process is introduced as well.Finally,the paper cites one application as an example to illustrate the realization of TCP / IP network communication through the model of Winsock.
