The Application of the Network Programming with WinSock Control

Abstract

WinSock Control is an interface Control between Windows applications and TCP/IP with which we can program network applications efficiently. This article presents the principle and the characteristics of the WinSock Control. Meanwhile, it gives a method of using WinSock Control to develop network communication applications and E-mail processing applications under VB environment.
