Abstract
Objective To study and optimize the extraction of saponins from Tribulus terrestris and to offer reference for the related drug production process. Methods The extraction of saponins from Tribulus terrestris was optimized through orthogonal test and the furostanol saponin content was measured. Results The optimal condition of this process was A1B3C1,namely,90% purified ethanol four times the amount of Tribulus terrestris was used for extraction, one hour for each time. Conclusion This experiment can serve as reference for further studies and use of Tribulus terrestris.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
