Abstract
objective:To study the effects of Kwoninone on hepatic stellate cell proliferation and procollagen Ⅰsynthesis to make clear its mechanism of action on liver fibrosis. Methods:The proliferation and synthesis of procollagen Ⅰwas measured by MTT bioassay, and immunocytochemistry.Result: Kwoninone significantly inhibited hepatic stellate cell proliferation and procollagenⅠ synthesis. Conclusion:The Kwoninone has anti-hepatic fibrosis effect through inhibiting hepatic stellate cell proliferation and procollagenⅠ synthesis.
