Abstract

Mr. Qian Weichang is the famous scientist, educator, and social activist in China. Based on his Reflections on Education and Teaching, his philosophy of education will be discussed in the aspects of education functions, education purposes, and knowledge, which is of actual importance for the construction of education theories and the revolution and development of our higher education characteristic of Chinese socialism.
