Abstract

Objective:To study on chemical constituents from the leaves of Lonicera japonica.Method:The compounds were isolated by column chromatography and identified on the basis of physic-chemical constants and spectral analysis.Result:Seven compounds were obtained and identified as diosmetin(1),quercetin(2),tricin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(3),quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(4),rutin(5),loniceroside A(6) and loniceroside B(7),respectively.Conclusion:The seven compounds were obtained from the leaves of L.japonica for the first time.
